It struck me yesterday that we are already 3 weeks into March, and I only have two journal entries for the month. Admittedly I've still been having difficulty organizing time; I won't explore other personal issues in a Creative Writing journal, but I'm seeing that now is definitely the time to get my act together and salvage the semester. I have, at least, mostly caught up on the readings. I'm not sure if I can pump out 20 entries in 10 days, but it would definitely be good to get one in a day, and it shouldn't be too hard. As my friend said, once I get myself used to working more, work will be less stressful and can be an exciting challenge.
On another note, the same friend suggested I start creating my own fantasy world. Indeed, writing "fan-fictions," even with original characters, can only go so far, and I feel I can definitely have some fun creating a world. It feels like a major undertaking; my friend suggested I start with a creation myth. Perhaps I can brainstorm for the world here, but until anything is established my actual stories will probably still take place in unoriginal worlds such as Azeroth (Warcraft) for now.
