Two more Warcraft characters

As I've said, I've enjoyed fleshing out my Warcraft characters. I know that using an established world (as in, one that isn't mine) will, in the end, limit me as a writer, but I figure that for now, as I'm sharpening my rusty writing skills, I might as well start from an easy spot in which I can have some fun. These characters may or may not be significant in "Closure," but might get their own short-short stories as Anneke did ("A Dark Bargain").

I'm going to outline two more Warcraft characters: the warlock Anneke (protagonist of "A Dark Bargain") and the shaman Kari ("Closure" protagonist Aesiri's sister). I'm probably going to outline two more characters in a later post.

Many of my Warcraft characters are female; honestly, this has a good amount to do with aesthetic preference but I enjoy characterizing them regardless.

  • Anneke Loomis
    • 28-year-old human woman, and a frighteningly powerful warlock; formerly a fire mage
    • Born to two Kirin Tor mages
    • Only goes by "Anne" with close friends
    • Former lover of Devin Grohl
    • Rival and former adventuring partner of Aesiri
      • Usually outdone by the Draenei mage in terms of power; Aesiri also saved both of their lives a few memorable times.
    • In a mixed effort to outdo Aesiri and repay a debt of many lives to her, Anneke secretly began studying demonic warlock magic
      • Revealed the dark power she had obtained to save her Kirin Tor party (including Aesiri and Devin) from an avatar of the old god Yogg-Saron in the ruined Titan city of Ulduar
        • Expelled from the Kirin Tor and left by Devin after; otherwise unpunished and now works for the Alliance
        • Now holds a grudge against the Kirin Tor as a whole and its leadership; seeks reconciliation with Aesiri and Devin, but hasn't spoken to either of them in a while at the time of "Closure"
    • Somewhat arrogant and sarcastic; often acts on emotions. Always means well. Appears confident, but often has trouble hiding her insecurity.
    • Light-tan skin and medium-long black hair, with brown eyes. Voluptuous figure, which she tends to flaunt more than her relatively-similarly-figured rival Aesiri would. While adventuring as a mage, generally wore purple and silver Northrend battle-mage robes; as a warlock, wears simple black robes or more extravagant black and red armored robes. Casually wears dark clothing.

  • Kari
    • A young Draenei woman, and a wise shaman with a strong connection to the elements.
      • As with Aesiri, "young" is relative
    • Younger sister of Aesiri
    • While her sister was interested and talented in arcane magic from youth, Kari was fascinated by the elements commanded by shamans.
    • Saw her father slain by corrupted Orcs on Draenor shortly before the first great war broke out on Azeroth
      • More hardened by the experience than traumatized, although grieved with her sister and mother for some time
    • Outgoing and talkative; sometimes ends up speaking at the behalf of her older sister. Generally seems confident and largely worry-free, but when trouble comes up easily finds resolve and determination.
    • Faintly-grayish blue skin, lighter in tone than Aesiri's. Medium-long dark green-blue hair, often flipped and sometimes held in a ponytail. Somewhat small build for a Draenei woman. Wears dark blue and light blue mail armor while adventuring, and variously-colored casual clothing.
